    Along with my family members, I would bring identification, credit cards, healthcare numbers for all, and spare cash.

    I would make sure that I had my important ID and passport with me so I can access what I need easily.

    My kids agree we would take a water filter (we have a Lifestraw and a camping filter) so we can find water anywhere and make it clean to drink. I'd also throw in my hand-held solar device-charger. And thanks to my mom's advice I always have a sleeping bag (and other emergency supplies) in my car. :)

    If Canmore were to have an emergency I would act like a turtle - pack my house on my back. I would immediately get our SUV hooked up to our camping trailer (which is on our property). I keep it loaded with the bare essentials at all times: bedding, towels, dry food, bottled water, kitchen gear, games, etc. If there was time, I would throw in a few clothes and our computer. We would then race to the schools and pick up our grandkids, then head out of town, whichever roads are available, hopefully beating the mass exodus. The kids'... Continue reading

    I would bring water but also something bright to keep me warm and make me visible so I could be found.
