The Town of Canmore is installing new banners on the light standards in the downtown core and at the intersection of Bow Valley Trail and Railway Avenue, and we want you to help us pick the designs!

Canmore- and Morley-based artists and designers submitted their designs for this project, and the submissions were narrowed by a committee of stakeholders and artist representatives to the four designs you get to vote on.

When submitting designs, artists and designers considered two different themes. For the downtown core, submissions were asked to reflect the diverse interests and passions of the Canmore community, and answer, "who are we?" At the intersection of Bow Valley Trail and Railway Avenue, submissions were asked to reflect multimodal transportation as the intersection design is intended for walkers, riders, drivers, and transit users.

Vote for your favourite designs and spread the word! The banners that receive the most votes are the ones that will be installed at the end of June.

Voting ends on May 17.
