What is Happening


We are getting a new website platform! The Town of Canmore website is a vital resource for our residents for residents to access accurate information on our programs, services, and initiatives; however, our current website platform has reached the end of its life cycle. We are undertaking a project to renew our website platform to increase user experience and to prepare the Town of Canmore to offer expanded e-services in the future.

We anticipate that we will be able to launch our new website in late spring/early summer 2023.



How You Can Get Involved


We need your input to help us understand your needs and priorities as we replace our current website platform.

Our public input opportunities are now complete. We thank the nearly 100 residents who participated in our surveys and focus sessions. Read our What We Heard report to learn more about what we heard from residents and how we will use your input.



How We Will Use Your Input


Making our new website as user-friendly as possible is a primary focus of this project. We are taking a user-centric approach to the website renewal project to increase user experience and will provide opportunities to provide input at key milestones in the project to understand the needs and priorities of our users. We will consider all input received as we design the structure and capabilities of our new website.
