Regardless of the situation it’s almost always beneficial to have clean safe water with you.

In an emergency

I would make sure my family is safe/with me and has water, snacks and warm clothes.

Water, I wouldn't want to get dehydrated

I would bring water but also something bright to keep me warm and make me visible so I could be found.
